Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

Right box but wrong part in box. Plus the part in the box was broken. When u spend over $100 on a car part you expect to get that car part not some random broken item.

Worse than JUNK!

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

Replaced original fuel pump on my 2000 Jeep in August 2011. had to drop the tank immediately because the new gasket leaked, had to replace it with the original gasket. July 2012, fuel level sensor went intermittent. Worked when the tank was full but when it went below 3/4 tank it read EMPTY. Advance Auto Parts replaced the faulty unit under warrant. Second one lasted until August 2013 and fuel level sensor failed again. Advance said warranty was no good after 12 mos. from purchase. I will not replace with AIRTEX under any circumstances. JUNK HAS SOME SCRAP VALUE. THIS UNIT IS WORSE THAN JUNK.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

I own a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee and replaced the fuel pump at the same time that I replaced the fuel tank skid plate. This unit looked similar to the OEM one that I removed. The fuel pump assembly had the seal ring, filter, and everything needed for the install-even had lube too. It was a straight forward replacement AND it is made in the good ol' US of A!!
I hope I have better luck with the longevity of my pump vs another reviewer on here. A similarity in part numbers tells me that this is a common part with a different package all from the same mfg. ie Bosch, AC, etc.
Time will tell. If there is a problem I will be back to relay the info, but good luck finding a different part number that isnt similar to this one.
I'm happy.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

This product is poorly manufactured & does not last for more than 6 months at a time. I have returned 3 on a warranty. Given the poor quality of this product a 5 yr warranty should be offered in place of the 1 yr. Not at all happy w/ this product or the manufacturer.

      • Q:

I can hear the fuel pump start to turn on and then it stops after a few of seconds. The ignition wont turn on. There is a good amount of gas in the car. What do you think I should have done to fix the problem? Should I change the entire system or is there a specific part that needs to be changed?

          A:

It might be the problem. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
