Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

So I put one of these in my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee 8 months ago and it failed a couple days ago. Pulling that one out, purchasing another and then will return the dead one for a full refund under warranty - so that's good. I don't know if I'm being stupid replacing with the same one that failed, but the next option up is 3x the price. In-store guy at Advance Auto says he sells a lot of them and has never had one come back. Guess I'm the lucky one although I did read in reviews someone else had one fail after a short time. The part is not going to cost me anything so that's good. Not so good is another $250 or so to have it installed. Wish I could get re-imbursed for that!

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

Installed it and it worked fine for around 60 days then the relay started acting up. Fuel gauge goes haywire and drops to empty. Don't go cheap with jeep electronics. Rebuild OEM or buy dealer parts.

Does this unit come with Fuel pressure Regulator, Filter? Is the complete unit?

This does come with the fuel pressure regulator. It is the metal canister at the top of the assembly. This assembly replaces every part that sits inside your fuel tank.

            • A:

Sergio. Not sure about the regulator but at the very bottom of the unit you can see the filter. I pulled some other infor from another site to view.

Notes: Complete fuel pump module assembly and strainer. Drop fuel tank and clean before replacing fuel pump.
