Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

this is a good pump for the money. real easy to install after you drop the tank and unhook every thing.i thought it was kinda chessey that you had to reused the gaskets for some of the fuel lines. i like that the pump is the self adjusting pump for the 15 or 22 gallon app.i was upset that i order this online and had it shiped to my house. and it shiped realy fast( got it next day) but once i got it installed the level sending unit did not work. so i had to order a new one and picked it up in store and drop the tank again and put the second new one in. then took the faulty one back. it was a hasle but bottom line is my gas gauge ia fixed and it works fine now

It may if that is what the problem really is. Since we can not be there with your vehicle, we can not properly diagnose what is going on.

      • A:

Most likely. Since your fuel gauge sending unit is integrated into the pump.. When I had 2 trucks sharing the same pump assembly.. the tempermental gas gauge was following the fuel pump assembly.
