Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

My fuel pump went out on a road trip and this was the only one that I could afford at the time. It pumps gas fine, I've had it for a few months but right off the bat it just did not fit. I had to make some small changes to get it to fit and even then I could not get the O-ring that came with it to fit. I didn't mind having to splice the wires but the fuel gauge doesn't work so it's almost useless to me. I would only tell someone to buy this pump if they had absolutely no other option because it was not easy to install and after all the trouble you still don't have a sealed fuel tank and you don't know how much gas you have.

Comments about CARQUEST Fuel Pump Module Assembly:

First things first it didn't have retainer for float arm. finally installed it and the thing won't read fuel level. this was expected seeing as it didn't have the clip and seeing as they give you a card listing that as a common defect. now after two weeks it has very low pressure and takes two tries to start then it won't get up to speed and stutters and stalls.gonna go get money back and get a real one if they have it in stock this time
