Very strange experience, typed in my year, make and model and this fuel tank comes up. Received the tank and get a call from my mechanic the next day saying it would not fit. Call customer service and they tell me if I look at the left hand side of the ordering screen there is a small note saying "may not be an exact fit" I tell customer service rep either a fuel tank will fit or it won't. Why the hell would a fuel tank come up on the screen that "might not fit" is way beyond me.

              • Q:

will then just tell me what it is that plugs into the smaller space on the top no matter what car or truck the tank goes with! I know my tank does have those same spaces for the applications. IM Sure the smaller unit is simular on all the different vehicles and the bigger gap is always for the fuel pump on all the vehicles. Confirm if it is called a PICKUP or something else. I absolutely need to find out.
