I recently replaced my fan clutch with this part. Is it normal for this fan clutch to be louder than the original?

      A:

Hi CLR! Glad I could be of some help. I guess you can install the clutch wrong. It may be possible to install the fan blade backwards. Most likely, you got a defective clutch. However, without the presence of your vehicle I would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. I would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.
