Comments about CARQUEST Electric Fuel Pump:

The pump was great. Looks almost just like OEM. The pre-filter (not included, but required for warranty)is a different design than OEM, but I'm sure that's not a big deal.

The installation was as easy as it could be with having to drop the tank. I didn't have any difficulties because of the pump.

All the positives of this pump aside, I do need to mention that mine and NONE of the ones in stock at my local store had the press on retaining washer that holds the pre-filter in place. Even though it is clearly shown in the included parts on the manuals and such. My Advance employee found me this part in another pump kit and graciously gave it to me, knowing that you need these for this as he's done it before too.The only reason I knew to look for it is because I've done this on EDs in the past as well.

To the manufacturer - why have you stopped including this vital piece? The pre-filter isn't going to go anywhere because the rubber cushion holds it in place, but it still needs to be there so it doesn't come loose at all...

    Lasted 6 days

Comments about CARQUEST Electric Fuel Pump:

First pump lasted 6 days, seized up. Second pump had tip broken off in the sealed package. Third time is a charm. (I hope)

Advance Auto is very good about swapping out, and exchanges.

I would have bought the Bosch pump, but they did not have the strainer for it in stock. (Need for warranty)

So aside from an extra tow, and extra labor to replace it the second time. Seems to be working fine. But then again it has only been in the car 1 day, 6 miles.

With out the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not function properly.
