Comments about CARQUEST Electric Fuel Pump:

I dont understand why so many people are quick to blame the fuel pump as their problem. If you realize, your original pump went out for a reason! If you diagnose correctly you will find out why it went out and prevent it the second time.
      To previous reviewer:
There is a good reason why your hoses are getting gooie, there is a mixture of bad fuel and contamination that is eatin it up!
I have installed many of these (I am a hobby technician) and have not had any issues with them.

Comments about CARQUEST Electric Fuel Pump:

Replaced fuel pump two years ago. It quit working. Dropped tank and discovered rubber parts disintergrated into gooey black blob. It would appear that ethanol and the rubber parts used by this brand are incompatible.

It is specifically manufactured for a particular vehicle. It will be same as the original if it is the correct one for your vehicle model.
