Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New Drive Shaft:

I have a 2006 VW Passat. The website told me that the bolt on type was correct for my car. All 2006 Passats take the plug in type. Swap was easy enough at local store. When I opened the box on the correct one (this one), the band on the inside of the inner boot was not seated properly around the ring. It was clamped on sideways and there was no way for me to get it placed correctly. Returning to store today and will check all seals and condition before leaving. Quite nervous about the overall quality of this part. I will update my review later if exchange, install, and performance proceed without incident.
