Great but I really wish it would use the 36 mm nut. This is already a huge socket and one that really only has one purpose and this thing comes with a smaller axle nut which makes you have to buy another huge, expensive single application tool. It's a small gripe but costs $30 bucks.

There are two different options for cv axles for Jeep Grand Cherokee. They are different part numbers, but both state they fit the exact same vehicle, 4WD or AWD Jeep Grand Cherokee. I ordered this one because all of the reviews for the other said the part did not fit. Well for me it was the complete opposite this part did not fit, but the other PN NCV82511 did fit my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee(WJ) Limited 4.7l V8 All time 4wd quadra. I just wish they would get this worked out so everyone would not have to do the run around to get the correct part.

I've used these axles several times with no problems. Exact replacement for my Jeep; it is a better value than the Dorman replacement boots that are too soft and won't last. Spend an extra $40, it makes the installation job much easier.

Normally a part's location is mentioned from the driver's point of view(from inside the car). So a left side is the driver's side and right the passenger side and it applies to the exterior & interior parts in a car.

The question is if this fits a Jeep that has a Vari-Lok differential or an open differential? The answer is that it will fit both but it's meant for a open differential, since a the shafts that are made for Vari-Lok differential need to be a little longer.
