All CARQUEST axles have a new zinc dichromate plated nut or attaching hardware. CV joint grease has a high moly content. The boot bands are made from stainless steel, and the boots are manufactured to resist wear and damage due to extreme high and low temperatures.

    Well can't tell much after reading the other reviews but what I can tell you is that I intall it about two weeks ago and so far no problems even though is not a oem part it seems to work fine will let yall know if somenthing else happen lol

        first: this doesnt fit.
        second: this have such a bad quality i rather leave the broken piece installed in my car than the new one, ITS MAKE MY CAR SHAKE ALL THE TIME!!!!!! dont buy it its a lost of time, money and effort!!!

                  is this a 5 speed shaft? a 6 speed shaft? what does it even fit? auto or manual trans? what is the length?

                    This shaft is for an Auto./tiptronic. Their site is confusing... the only way I knew it was for an Auto was the fact that once i added part to the cart it said Left Front, AT and I saw another one stated the initials M.T. for manual. I went ahead and purchased this online and it fit fine for the wife's '03 vw gti tiptronic.
