Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

This fit perfectly (didn't need the ABS toothed wheel, but it didn't interfere with anything). Unlike rebuilt axles, it came with dust shields installed and cost is comparable. I will buy new from ow on.

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

Easy to install. this shaft asy requires you to remove the snap ring holding the center bearing to the motor mount. Not the shafts problem, just the design of the car. If the snap ring in rusted in place the the motor mount will have to be removed in order to remove shaft. Again a car design problem.

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

Had the axel installed for about a week and so far no problems. I cannot speak to longevity as I only drive 200 miles per month, but if it lasts at least 50,000 miles then I'll consider it long lasting.

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

I went with the previous reviews and purchased this product. It went in perfect and had no problems with installation. I wouldn't know the difference between this and a remanufatured one, other than price. It depends on how much money you have and how you feel at the time of purchase. What are you putting it on? Are you going to keep it or sell the vehicle? The are probally made at the same plant. I took my cores to the junk yard and got 8 bucks for them.
