          A:

Hi Jeff, I'm happy to help you! The Limited lifetime warranty part can be refunded for cash/credit within the 90 day timeframe. After that time expires, it can only be exchanged for a new item. So the warranty is valid the life of the part as long as the customer owns the vehicle.

Replacement parts are warranted for 90 days from the date of exchange or the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is longer.

      • Q:

        Is this the same as
        a driveshaft?

        • CUSTOMER CARE

          A:

I'm happy to help, Gerry! This is not exactly the same at the driveshaft. Although it does transfer the torque of the engine, it does so a bit differently. A driveshaft is generally used on rear, all or four wheel drive vehicles to connect the transmission and/or transfer case to the axle(s). A CV (Constant Velocity) Shaft connects the wheel hub to the differential on vehicles with independent suspension. More commonly found on front, all and four wheel drive vehicles. Some rear on newer trucks and suvs are also independent and require CV Shafts instead of axle shafts and a full axle.
