  • Q:

What part do I need to replace if my 2000 Nissan Maxima is just started to make a slight popping sound when I turn the steering wheel. Do I just need to replace the boot or the whole cv joint?
It doesn't make the popping noise that often or to loud, but I rather be safe then sorry. It's the left front driver's side. Please tell me what options are available and which is the best one.
    Thank you.

Unfortunately we are unable to diagnose what is wrong with your vehicle without being able to be there with your vehicle. However, I would suggest taking your vehicle to a certified mechanic for a proper diagnosis before buying and having parts installed that may not (solve/be) the problem.
