All CARQUEST axles have a new zinc dichromate plated nut or attaching hardware. CV joint grease has a high moly content. The boot bands are made from stainless steel, and the boots are manufactured to resist wear and damage due to extreme high and low temperatures.

      A:

      I have replaced a few of these before and they really aren't that hard. If you have not done them before, I recommend getting a repair manual for your vehicle to help you with your project.
