Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

This is a great deal on both axles, i replaced both at once, my first axle job and it went well.
A lot easier to install than i had antipated.
Had to purchase a couple of speciality tools, about 40.00, worth but i saved about $500.00, by doing it myself. Use caution if you want to do this yourself, it can get complicated quickly without some vehicle knowledge.

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

We have used GSP axles for years and have had only ONE complaint: some don't have the correct axle nut with the large diameter flange. Consequently we've had to buy the correct nut at an additional cost, or use an adequate washer, or reuse the original nut. The latter 2 options are not as desirable, and the first option increases our costs. There is no reason the proper flanged (or shouldered) nut is not included with the axle.

The construction and quality of GSP axles has always been superior to OEM. When comparing the new GSP axle side-by-side to the old axle it's easy to see the difference, giving us confidence they will provide the service that is expected.

We've never had any problem with fit. All dimensions have been correct.

On rare occasion we've had to buff the machined part before inserting into the transaxle/differential to prevent damage to the output shaft seal. That was a minor issue requiring less than a minute to remedy, but should be an additional process before passing QA inspections.

We are very particular and meticulous. Our customers are very demanding, and expect high quality parts that will last, and high quality service they can depend on - all for a fair price. We can strongly recommend GSP axles.
