Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

I am on my third one of these in eight months the retaining ring on the end breaks and the axle will separate from the trans this could leave you stranded. the first time it happened I had to be towed home the other two I used my good old truck to tow it home. but they have a lifetime warranty and are easy to return.

I have since found out from Honda that a lot of these axle's are actually a little too short and that can cause them to pull out of the trans

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

Despite this product "fitting" my Honda (according to the website), I could not get it installed. I was able to install the passenger side axle assembly with the anticipated amount of effort required. The driver's side was a totally different story. The item was easily returned to the store for credit (with the receipt).
