Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

This is one of a pair of axles I bought for the Honda. Both fit very well.
1986 Honda Accord; Automatic; Carb; 117k miles
After replacing the two axles, I immediately noticed a quieter ride. The old axles made noise when turning but I never noticed their straight-line noise until these axles went in and it was all quiet on the front!
The rubber boots look & feel very durable and pliable. The axle shaft went into the tranny without any problems.
I greased the tranny end that went thru the shaft seal.
The outer end at the wheel bearing has a nice rubber-lip sealer against the bearing inner surface.
It comes with a replacement axle nut
I have about 1,000 miles on the replacement axles and have only good things to say about them.
