Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

I bought this at my local AAP, along with its right-side counterpart. The price was right and a core was not required. I was doing an overhaul of the front suspension of my '01 PT Cruiser, and even though at about 170K the factory axles hadn't failed, I figured they were about due. Glad I saved the originals. The GSP NCV12567 failed after about 66K of use. So I re-installed the OEM axle and I'm back on the road. I guess you get what you pay for. Waiting for the next axle to drop.
