Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

I purchased one of these for my '06 cobalt. The OEM axle came off pretty easily and without much effort. I only had this installed for a week before the boot fell off the CV joint and grease went everywhere. Removing this part took way more effort than the OEM part. It did not want to release from the clip. To get it off I ended up having to use vise grips with a slide hammer.

The part was covered under warranty and I installed another one of these. The replacement has been working well for about a year now

Comments about CARQUEST CV Shafts New CV Axle Shaft Assembly:

Purchased for my 07 chevy cobalt . Installed the axel only for it to come out of the transmission a mile down the road, and had to be pulled home. If you compare to factory axel you'll see the differences.
