Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

Piston cap put together by bolts instead of screws. People should be reminded to change out fluid in theses systems at least every two years to avoid blowing them apart trying to compress moisture accumulated in the fluid

One small point, supplied o-ring appeared too small, got by with re-using old one, otherwise installed no issues, works fine. Good pricing and available on the shelf.

Product fit my 2006 Accord V6 ok. Worked for 18 months, then failed. Needed a tow. Not worth the cost savings; this item is best purchased from Honda dealer.

I installed one of these last year. It lasted about 9 months, then the side blew out. I get a replacement which has lasted appx. 6 weeks, same problem. Please save yourself the anger and frustration and buy ANYTHING else.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

Easy enough to install, drove the car less than a mile and the clutch pedal went straight to the floor. Limped back home, raised the hood and the fluid reservoir was bone dry. Poured more fluid in and it started pouring out of master cylinder like a faucet on full blast. Wish I'd listened to the other reviews...

The only good thing about this part is the warranty, I'm on my 3rd one. and It failed out on me again. Dont buy this part! Go for the more expensive one and save time and mental anquish

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

It...is not worth your time. I went through TWO of these in a period of months. The first one lasted a good month and a half but then went bad. I exchanged it for a new one the next day...spent about 1 1/2 right after I bought it to install it...and it doesn't even work. I now have a third one...which I don't know what to do with...but probably sell it on [@] because it is not worth the effort. IMO, go for OEM because in the long run, saves you money, time, and GAS.

This part deals with the clutch for the transmission and not the clutch for the air compressor.
