Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

Not sure why others are slamming this part. It worked great for me. Fit perfect no issues. Got the car back on the road. The location makes it hard to reach,so you must remove the battery and tray.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

This was the only product available in store. The hard line connection thread is metric, 10M x 1, inverse dbl SAE flare. The original line connection would not seal with the new mstr cylinder. I had to install a new hard line. The hose clamp that comes with the part is a single hard wire. I used the Ford original hose clamp, because I don't have the pliers needed to grab the new wire clamp.
When this part fails, and I see from other users it surely will, I will not buy another. I'll order another more quality part from another dealer. Like I said above this was the only available part on the shelf, anywhere.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch TECHnovation Clutch Master Cylinder:

Put new one in last December. Car got stuck this April. The new master cylinder has leaked. Wasted $80 in labor and plenty of time...plus the danger of being stuck in traffic.

Possibly. Unfortunately we are unable to diagnose what is wrong with your vehicle without being able to be there with your vehicle. We highly recommend taking your vehicle to a reputable shop to have them take a look at it to determine the cause.
