Check Vehicle Fit

Flywheel hot spots can cause chatter. Resurfacing a flywheel doesn't always remove hot spots. The flywheel may look shiny and pretty, but the hot spots will often still be there. Service the System by replacing the flywheel and the clutch set at the same time. All flywheels come with a new ring gear.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch New Flywheel:

This flywheel is 5 pounds heaver than OEM, poorly manufactured and chattered on first installation. I saved my OEM GM flywheel, had it resurfaced and after replacing my 3rd CHINESE, clutch, I'm putting the OEM flywheel back in. I am getting good at this clutch business...they're all lifetime replacements but if this one fails, I'm finding a GM clutch. GM workers may be overpaid and out of work but they do make good parts. Gooid stuff aint cheap and cheap stuff aint good!
