Flywheel hot spots can cause chatter. Resurfacing a flywheel doesn't always remove hot spots. The flywheel may look shiny and pretty, but the hot spots will often still be there. Service the System by replacing the flywheel and the clutch set at the same time. All flywheels come with a new ring gear.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch New Flywheel:

After an extensive search for a flywheel for my 1997 Nissan XE extended cab pickup truck,I purchased this flywheel to replace the factory flywheel. In addition to the flywheel i purchased a new starter.both parts had to be replaced to prevent undue damage to the flywheel due to starter gear being damaged. The price was right and I couldn't find another one that didn't have to be special ordered. It fit properly and added no additional vibration to the vehicle. The vehicle now starts quietly and I am glad to have my truck back on the road.

For the exact torque specifications on the flywheel nuts for your Nissan hardbody truck, I would suggest you to refer the vehicle owner's manual to avoid intermittence.
