Flywheel hot spots can cause chatter. Resurfacing a flywheel doesn't always remove hot spots. The flywheel may look shiny and pretty, but the hot spots will often still be there. Service the System by replacing the flywheel and the clutch set at the same time. All flywheels come with a new ring gear.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch New Flywheel:

The pins in the flywheel didn't match up with my pressure plate. I had to go back and try another one and had that issue again. After three try's I finally got one that Lines up with my pressure plate. You get what you pay for.

Comments about CARQUEST Clutch New Flywheel:

This is a good flywheel suitable for OE replacement on my Honda Civic. I have no idea why it didn't fit the other guy's car, bur I have the D16Z6 engine and it fit perfectly. If you are doing a clutch job, why bother machining down your old flywheel when you can buy a new one! Improved shifting of my 20 year old civic to like new :) Weight and quality seem identical to OE part.
