This clutch is for road riving only. it is definately not a good suit for pulling loads or the occasional mud or hard shifts playing on the road. I just finished off the second one in two years. The first one went out within six months and the second I babied for the first little while then used it for what its for and the easy break in did not help so i m going to kevlar. If you just do daily driving then you might be ok but as far as using a four wheel drive for what they are for, work hauling pukking and a little off road then i would say from personal experience that this is not the route to go.

replaced the blown stock 10.5 inch with this 11 inch kit. It has better pedal feel than the original, it came with a nice disconect and bleed screw tool, Dont forget to buy a throwout bearing and if you want to do it right have the flywheel machined!

I ran my stock 10 inch clutch down to the rivets... Going to a new 11 inch clutch was nice.
It is a heavy clutch set, what I was shopping for to put in my truck...

I play in a bit of mud, no drag racing or rock crawling... lol

            I have a 1991 F150 and it has a 4 speed with overdrive... is that considered a 5 speed?

            • CUSTOMER CARE

              A:

I'm happy to help, Andrwe! Generally the 4 speed with overdrive would be considered the 5 speed. To be sure that you are purchasing the correct part, in your door jamb on the driver's side, look for the trans code. S5-42 indicates the 5 speed.
