Comments about CARQUEST Caps and Stats Thermostat, 195 Degrees Fahrenheit:

This is the thermostat that is recommended for a Ford 7.3 Diesel when you search the website or go to the parts counter in the store. Unfortunately, 195 degrees is the highest they offer. If you are stuck on the road, this thermostat will work in a pinch, but the 7.3 powerstroke needs a 206 degree thermostat to operate at peak performance & efficiency.
