Hi Papaw Dave, glad to assist you! This part should be screwed into the engine's block or cylinder head. To get more specific information on the location of this part I would recommend purchasing a Chilton or Haynes Repair Manual for your vehicle, not only will it show the location and also explain how to install, but you'll find it handy for many more projects on your vehicle. The repair manual part number is 42026.
