  • Q:

My 93 Chevrolet Astro Van is running rich and idles rough at stoplights. It's only getting 10 MPG, the 3 spark plugs on the right side of the engine are soaked in gasoline. could the idle air control valve cause this?

This could possibly be the problem. However, without the presence of your vehicle we would not be able to properly diagnose it nor provide you with a 100% answer. We would suggest that you take your vehicle to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis.

Possibly. There is also a good chance that it is your alternator going bad.
