Occasional erratic/low idle in my 03 Acura TL-S was solved by replacing the OEM EGR valve with this new BWD replacement, which is made in the USA!
The car now runs smoothly and no more low idle issues. This replacement also includes a HD EGR gasket so you will not need to order one separately. Replacing this was easy and took only 5 minutes.

                                        A:

With reference to your inquiry on this BWD/Intermotor EGR Valve (Part No. EGR1433), the EGR valve is located on top of the intake manifold on your 2005 Honda Odyssey. The failure EGR valve is the reason for rough idle and random misfires. For help with your EGR valve installation, I recommend purchasing a Haynes repair manual specifically for your vehicle. This should be able to assist you further into detail on how to repair or replace specific parts. For any further assistance, please feel free to call us at: 1-877-238-2623 or visit the nearest Advance Auto Parts store and one of our Parts Pros will gladly assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

For the 3.0L accord, this is accessed and visible on the top of the engine, toward the driver's side, just in front of the throttle body. It also sits with the connector on top, unlike the pic here.
