    I recently c hanged my water pump and had to work around this sensor and wire a great deal. I also unplug my battery for the installation, now the car wont start. Could it be because this wire and sensor are damaged or could it be the cars security system?

    Is this the sensor that I need if my vehicle starts ideling rough when I put the AC on ?

      No. This sensor will not help with idling issues with the AC on.
