Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Timing Component Kit:

This bearing and spring kit appears just as good in quality and fit as the OEM components removed. Word of warning, if you have never done a timing belt service on a vehicle get ready. There is alot of stuff to remove, hardest being the crank pulley which will require a very strong impact wrenchto remove pulley bolt. Making sure timing marks are spot on is a major concern also... shop manual says job should take 4 hours. In between rounding up proper tools and making sure everything was correct I spent over 20 hours all together. But it felt good not giving the dealership $1000 to do the job.

The installation procedure shipped with the kit covers a complete timing belt replacement and rivals the shop manual for thoroughness.
