                A:

                Just about all car belt systems have a way of loosening the tension in the belt by way of tensioner. Once you find the tensioner for your specific vehicle, loosen the belt and remove. Then replace with the new belt and tighten with the tensioner. Usually the best tools for this job are a ratchet and sockets.
