Probably good for your average car, but if you have a performance car, or worse yet, a supercharged car like mine, the Dayco belt doesn't grab well enough and ends up squealing all the time. It's now in my trunk as an emergency backup - I recommend the Goodyear Gatorback belt, which wraps and grabs better especially on small supercharger pulleys.

Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Poly Rib Belt:

Fit well. Problem is that it squeals like s dying animal under the hood. No noise out of the one it replaced. Thought it might be the tensioner or idler pulley.

At 64 years of age and have purchased many belts over time this was the most expensive belt I have ever purchased and the worst. Started squeaking two weeks after installing. Advance should stop selling this belt.

If it appears that it doesn't fit exactaly then it isn't on correctly. I had it on the wrong side of a guide pin and it seemed an inch short. Then I saw what I had done wrong and it fit perfectly anfet I corrected the problem. Seems like a pretty tough belt.
