Replacement belt since my old one was squealing especially when it got wet. This one is much better, obviously! My boyfriend loved the install instructions on the actual packaging too! And HE is a car guy! I DEF recommend this product!

Had idler pulley start to go bad. Replaced belt along with the pulley. Replacing the belt was a little difficult to put on because of the make and model of the vehicle.

Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Poly Rib Belt:

Beware of the edge on the cuts of these belts.
I've never seen a drive belt, with the bonding threads exposed to the edges of the belt. These threads will wear premature, as they run the edges of the drive pulley flanges.

Another one of those products built NOT TO LAST.
I expect more from a company like Dayco.

Good quality belt, have always had good luck with Dayco belts. It's an important piece of the engine, makes sense to spend a few bucks more to ensure quality.

To find information on replacing the serpentine belt on your particular vehicle, I recommend visiting your local Advance Auto Parts store and purchasing Haynes Repair Manual. The book will inform you on the replacement process for any part on your vehicle. The book will direct you step by step with detailed instructions on how to replace your serpentine belt, it will also inform you on what tools you will need to complete the task.
