    ok so i just bought this part and put it on my car . . .the car started fine was going good .and then there was a loud sequel...i took no notice ...it happened again...then the belt seized . . the car wouldn't start. ..so i figured i would try to start the car with the belt off...and what a surprise..it worked..so..is there a way to somehow prep the belt so that it will work correctly when i put it on?

      You should not have to do anything to the belt. They just fit right on and work properly as long as the right belt is being used and the tension is adjusted properly.
