For help with your project, I recommend getting a repair manual specifically for your vehicle. It should be able to help you with detailed instructions on how to do many things.

  • Q:

How can I tell the amp rating of my alternator?
    Asked on 11/5/2010 by Anonymous

There really is no way to tell just by looking at it unless it is on some sticker that may be on your alternator. The only real way is to call the manufacturer of the alternator and giving them a part number if you can and asking them.
