Q:I have a 1990 Ford Ranger,is there a place to release the tenison or do I have to take something loose to change belt.
A:On some vehicles they have a tension pully that you can pull back so you can take off the belt. Some vehicles you will have to loosen the alternator pull it aside and then you can take off the belt.
A:Yes there is a pulley that can loosen the tension on the belt.
