Just as the other reviewer stated this is for the Dodge water pump that sneaks its way under the AC compressor. You'll have to remove the Alternator/AC compressor bracket to get to the top of the hose. Necessary with any Water pump replacement. Pretty easy to do, just label the handful of bolts as you take them out so you don't put them back in the wrong spot. Disconnect a couple electrical connections and braces and flip the entire assembly over onto the air cleaner box. Clean up all the sludge that found it's way on top of the engine and your done. I did not have to trim any off the hose to fit onto the outlets. Worked on my 1999 5.9 Durango just fine.

Comments about Dayco Curved Radiator Hose:

This is a simple but such an important part! Advance has it under a generic name of Curved Radiator hose. As in other reviews, the true name for this part is Water Pump Bypass Hose and it is a quite difficult part to get to and replace (at least it was on my 2002 Dodge Ram Van 3500 5.2L). But in my opinion it is an ESSENTIAL part of the water pump replacement process. 1st: It makes it easier to install the new pump with the old hose not being in the way as the new one can be slipped on after the pump is secured. 2nd: the old hose tends to get very hard and may even be next to impossible to remove from the old pump without damaging or simply cutting into it. 3rd: its replacement WILL PREVENT LEAKS!
This new hose might be a bit longer than necessary but can be easily trimmed to required length. Overall, a difficult part to install but well worth it in the end.
P.S. To get to it on my Dodge I had to loosen 4 bolts holding a/c compressor, move it aside with all of the hoses still attached (no need to refill a/c system :-), remove the alternator and the big bracket supporting the alternator. Only then, I could get to the actual hose! GOOD LUCK!

just like the previous guy said it works after you cut about 1/4" off of the straight end. My old one split down the middle...I hope this one lasts longer since its such a pain to replace.

This isn't a radiator hose. It is the thermostat bypass hose that Mopar has used since 1966. It fit fine after a 1/4" trim and is doing a good job of not leaking.
