Dayco No Slack Automatic Belt Tensioners are specifically built to outperform and outlast competitive OE parts. The heavy duty cast aluminum spring case resists cracking and fatigue. Each component is built to resist rust, endure the toughest of conditions while promoting quieter performance and longer life.

Product Features:
  • Manufactured with a specially coated patented flat wire spring to allow the internal tension to be concentric, thus providing a more even degree of constant tension
  • Contains a metallic locator pin built to withstand extreme drive demands and properly locate the tensioner for installation
  • The patented Deflected Arm Plate dampens arm movement, prolonging the life of the tensioner by limiting the amount of rotational movement
  • This tensioner is another Dayco product proudly made in the USA

Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Belt Tensioner:

My 2007 Nissan Xterra had a squeal on damp days. I read that the belt tensioners for this year model were problematic. Dayco makes an improved replacement part with lighter tension. I replaced both the belt and tensioner... problem solved ! The original tensioner spun freely but had some end play from wear. Replaced at approx 60K miles but had problem had existed for several months and was getting worse.
