Dayco No Slack Automatic Belt Tensioners are specifically built to outperform and outlast competitive OE parts. Each component is built to resist rust, endure the toughest of conditions while promoting quieter performance and longer life.

Product Features:
  • Manufactured with a specially coated patented flat wire spring to allow the internal tension to be concentric, thus providing a more even degree of constant tension
  • The patented Deflected Arm Plate dampens arm movement, prolonging the life of the tensioner by limiting the amount of rotational movement
  • The heavy duty cast aluminum spring case resists cracking and fatigue
  • This tensioner is another Dayco product proudly made in the USA

Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Belt Tensioner:

Application: 2008 Toyota Tundra (approx 66k miles)
Symptom: Started out as intermittent squeal noise while engine was running. Thought it may be the belt. Became a sustained loud noise.
Solution: Replace belt tensioner. This is a common issue with Tundras from this time period. Also a good time to replaced your belt since it had to be removed easily.
Product: This replacement item looks almost exactly like the original Toyota part. No issues with aligning bolt holes.
Installed for a week now with no issues.
