Dayco No Slack Automatic Belt Tensioners are specifically built to outperform and outlast competitive OE parts. Each component is built to resist rust, endure the toughest of conditions while promoting quieter performance and longer life.

Product Features:
  • Manufactured with a specially coated patented flat wire spring to allow the internal tension to be concentric, thus providing a more even degree of constant tension
  • The patented Deflected Arm Plate dampens arm movement, prolonging the life of the tensioner by limiting the amount of rotational movement
  • The heavy duty cast aluminum spring case resists cracking and fatigue
  • This tensioner is another Dayco product proudly made in the USA

Comments about CARQUEST by Dayco Belt Tensioner:

Installed in 1999 F250. After 5 months, it is now louder than the stock one I replaced. Pulley Bearing & Spring assembly will Not hold up in a V8 application. Only good point is it went out during the one year warranty period.

        • Q:

Do I need to remove the tensioner to replace the pulley? Or can I replace the pulley while the tensioner is still installed on the vehicle? Does the tensioner wear out and need to be replaced or is it usually just the pulley?

        • Q:

Can just the pulley be replaced. That is what's making the noise I hear and can feel the vibration in when I touch it.
