I should have purchased it sooner

Dificult to attach all the wires on the outgoing side because terminal needs to be a little longer.

Comments about BWD Select Starter Solenoid:

I have had to replace this solenoid FOUR times. First two times, it got stuck in the 'on' position. Second two, it shorted the electrical system. I had to pop my ford's hood and beat on it before I could even get basic electronics to work. The quality of this product is the absolute worst. Go buy something a lot better.

Comments about BWD Select Starter Solenoid:

The Starter Solenoid stayed on causing the starter to stay on and had to cut the battery cables because the wiring harness was beginning to smoke. It actually melted the ground feed wire off the negative side of the battery.

Comments about BWD Select Starter Solenoid:

I bought this starter solenoid as a replacement for my 1992 Ford F150 2wd 5.0L 3 speed automatic. I got the truck at auction and found a spare solenoid in the truck cab, in addition to the one in the engine compartment. Both of those solenoids looked old and used so I decided to just buy a new one so I wasn't chasing electrical problems while trying to get my truck running. The saleman sold me the "select" branded solenoid instead of the regular one. Well, the select solenoid wouldn't accept the factory battery cable becuase of the formed rubber strain relief which holds the ends of the cables together in a "paired" configuation. The salesman cost me 25 miles of driving and over an hour of my time by selling me an electrical part that didn't fit and I now can't return. I wound up pulling a used solenoid off of another vehicle. So much for "exact fit". By the looks of everyone else's reviews of this product, I'm probably better off anyway.

if your ford truck f-150, etc, has that split connector on bottom this will not fit ,,, they give you spacers, but they do not allow connector either
