  • Q:

I blew the caps off my battery by the alternator overcharging. All gauges went dead, no lights and car didn't shift properly. Since engine didn't die and I drove 40 miles home I figure it's the voltage regulator. This says it's an exact fit for my 2007 Mercury Montego Premier. Can this be put on without removing the alternator?

Hi Corry, I am happy to help! The BWD pigtail is an exact fit for your vehicle although it fits multiple sensors. To be more specific, what is the sensor that you are referring to? So I can research more on the sensor location and the process of installing it.

  • Q:

Hello, I have a 2003 CHRYSLER PT cruiser, engine Cyl/Size: 4/2.4, automatic, non-turbo. Will Air Charge Temperature Sensor fit in this pigtail? The sensor that is located in the big and fat Air Cleaner Hose? Thank you.
Asked on 11/11/2014 by Judy from Colrain, MA

    1 answer

    • CUSTOMER CARE

      A:

Hi Judy, I'm happy to help you! According to BWD catalog your vehicle would use the BWD #WT5545 Air Charge Temperature Sensor. If so, it would use BWD #PT1417 connector. You just cut the old wires one at a time and connect them in the same position and orientation as the old connector. Left goes on left, right goes on right.
