    What is the hose size that fits on the inlet nipple? Is there an outlet on this part for the vent, or is it a replacement to eliminate the vent?

      Hi Jason, glad to assist you! This BWD Vapor Canister Purge Solenoid - Part No. CP560 is not designed for a conventional hose/clamp type connection. This solenoid uses a specialized connector which is part of a preformed line.

      The purge solenoid (single port, one bolt hole) is behind the alternator...
      The Vent solenoid is over the canister in front of the gas tank. on the 2006 Chevy truck.

      Hi Alexander, To get more specific information on the location of vapor canister purge solenoid I would recommend purchasing a Chilton or Haynes Repair Manual for your vehicle, not only will it show the location, but you'll find it handy for many more projects on your 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe.

      Hi Dennis, great question! This vapor canister purge solenoid is an exact fit for your 2006 GMC Sierra. It would be located on the driver's side near gas tank on top of the frame rail near rear cab mount.

      Good question JC. I found that the Purge Solenoid should be located under the hood near the intake on top of the engine. If the Evap solenoid needs to be replaced, that part is located near the gas tank.
