Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 70 Amps:

I was skeptical at first buying this alternator because of the bad review. I had a coupon so I bought it anyway. I installed it a few months ago and it works fine. I have no issues with it. Fit right in. It was tough getting the old one out because of rust but once in it charges the car fine. No issues as of yet. It went in a 92 Civic

Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 70 Amps:

Installed on a 93 Civic. First one lasted 6 months. Second one lasted 3 months. Not going for a third round. I guess 70 amps is enough if you don't plan on using your headlights, A/C, or radio.

Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 70 Amps:

Excellent OEM Replacement for 92-95 Civic. Installed easily, and works great! Have had mine installed for around 3K miles now, and still working fine. Only beef is my wiring-harness connector did not positively "lock into" the new alternator's connector port, but hasn't slipped out, either. Pricey for an alternator, but is characteristic of Honda replacement-parts cost.

    Not good

Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 70 Amps:

Bought a Reman one and right out of the box it was defective. Went and exchanged it for another one and that one was bad. The third one was good but sold the car. Don't know how long it lasted. Wouldn't by from this manufactor again.

Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 70 Amps:

I have installed 4 of these on my Honda Civic, they last anywhere from 3 weeks to 3 months, but all end up going bad. Don't waste your money, go buy an OEM Alternator

I purchased this Alternator to replace the one that went out on my car. I had the new alternator installed and within 2 weeks, I had to replace the new alternator again.
