the alternator was easy to install and has worked great since the day I got it. the sales people at advance run a test on my old alternator and let me know it failed which was a big help to a do it yourself guy like me.

Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 110 Amps:

Alternator starts off putting out 14.4V just like my original stock one, after about 2 days it is down to 13.8V and stays there. Also upon replacing my alternator suddenly I got a loud squeak under my hood. I replaced it and the same thing happened every time. Went somewhere else, got an alternator, worked perfectly, no squeaking, no loss in Volts.

Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 110 Amps:

I put this one in the believe it or not category. I have a 2001 Mustang and was having problems with my cam position sensor. I replaced it and still got the diagnose code that said the sensor was bad. After taking it to the mechanic and being told it was the computer and would be $1200 to replace. I decided to do a little research of my own. Everybody was saying replace the alternator. So I did and the problem went away.
