Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 105 Amps:

The alternator works well but I was unhappy with the power wire connector. It was not the same as OE. OE had a threaded stud with a nut and the replacement has a metal stud with a threaded female hole which required an additional bolt to install the wire. 2 trips to the hardware store!

    I just purchased a new alternator from Advance Auto and it still discharges. Have replaced fan belt, battery shows full charge, but shows dischargeing on dash. What do I do now.

      You may have received a defective alternator or you are having other issues such as with the wiring.
