Comments about CARQUEST Alternator - Remanufactured - 100 Amps:

Unit is a rebuilt OEM part, fit is perfect. Nice, clean unit, new terminal stud nut was included. Installation, while not overly difficult, was typical of almost any "bolted on" part on a Toyota V6 - little (or no) working clearance to other parts or inner fenders. Dealing with the serpentine belt is the biggest part of the job, the alternator itself is held in by two (mildly inaccessible) bolts, one wiring plug and one terminal stud. No issues at all after installation, delivers the correct voltage under varying load conditions. Have had it installed for two weeks now, time will tell regarding the longevity of this replacement part (the original lasted almost 8 years/over 135,000 miles).
