loud

Comments about Cardone Remanufactured Power Steering Pump W/O Reservoir:

This pump fits just like OEM. Comes with everything you need to do the job. It is a lot louder than OEM. Seems to work ok. If you can do this job fairly easily, and you are replacing just because of leaking seals, rebuilding the GM pump is the way to go...

Comments about Cardone Remanufactured Power Steering Pump W/O Reservoir:

Put this on 97 k1500 , did proper bleed, all new fluid etc. At idle whines and cannot turn wheels. Above idle works ok but when decelerating to turn and engine rpm is low you sometimes lose power steering!!! Terrible since it's a pain in the rear to change!!

No complaints

By

from Atlanta, GA

Comments about Cardone Remanufactured Power Steering Pump W/O Reservoir:

The shaft on my OEM pump sheared completely off when a bearing seized, so I put this on as a replacement. Reusing the existing reservoir was not difficult and saved a significant amount of money; just pay attention to where the o-rings go. The new pump has been running fine for 3 months now. It is audible, but doesn't seem noticeably louder than the OEM pump.

Not easy

Comments about Cardone Remanufactured Power Steering Pump W/O Reservoir:

Installing this was ridiculous, pulling off the pulley to get reuse a reservoir is way to time consuming. I hope they just start selling the pump with reservoir like they used to. If this leaks again I will be going to a junk yard and taking my chances.
